WCSA to take part in National Charter Schools Conference

Coming to Washington D.C. June 30 - July 3:  join WCSA Executive Director Carrie Bonk with others from around the country in important charter school discussions.

Keynote speakers in D.C. include Arne Duncan,the ninth U.S. secretary of education; Joel Klein, CEO of Amplify and former Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education; and keynote panelists Dr. Craig Barrett, Margaret Spellings, Dr. Michael Lomax, and Ana Ponce who will share their ideas about how charter schools can most effectively prepare students for success in college and their careers.

Join Carrie and others from Wisconsin -  this is an outstanding opportunity to join in the national discussion.

Congratulations Veritas!

Congratulations to Veritas High School students Cha Lee and Xiong Her!  Each has been selected as one of 1,000 Gates Millenn-ium Scholars for the GMS Class of 2013 (chosen from a pool of 54,000 students!).  As a Gates Scholar, GMS funds are available for each student to attend any U.S. located accredited  college or university.
