On October 21st, 2011 300 charter school teachers, leaders, and advocates gathered at Discovery World in Milwaukee to celebrate the Awards of Excellence.  Awards were given out in 4 categories- Innovator, Person, Teacher, and Charter School of the Year- in addition to a career achievement award.  

The new silent auction portion of the evening was a tremendous success and helped raise necessary funds for WCSA's continued work.
